The Tharu Cultural Museum, established on Magh 13, 2075 B.S. (January 27, 2019), is located in Chakhaura, Dang. It stands as a proud symbol of indigenous identity and heritage. Founded with the mission to protect and revive the unique traditions of the Tharu community, the museum offers an immersive journey into one of Nepal’s oldest and most vibrant cultures.
