Chiraiyan Lathi is a long wooden stick decorated with hand-woven threads to resemble a bird. It is used during Dashain and other traditional dances to mimic bird movements and tell cultural stories through motion.

This ceremonial prop reflects the creativity and symbolic storytelling in Tharu festival performances. It emphasizes harmony with nature and community celebration
