The Hansuli is a rigid crescent-shaped necklace crafted from silver, worn close to the throat. Handmade by local Tharu artisans, each piece is unique in its weight and finish. It is among the most prized ornaments in a Tharu woman's collection, typically passed down as a family heirloom.

The Hansuli has been a central ornament in Tharu culture for centuries, worn during Maghi, weddings, and other significant ceremonies. Its crescent form is believed to carry protective and auspicious symbolism within the community.
